Hello, I'm Abdul. I'm a designer; I take photos, draw and make and this is where I share it all.
The design is a play on the traditional insignia T-shirts like those of Fred Perry because it also works as the iconic image created by Felix Baumgartner when he performed his jump from the edge of space. Watch Felix in action above.
THAMES for navalmartin. This pattern celebrates the river that bleeds through london and the nature of water. It aims to encapsulate tone, motion and reflection.
GIRDER for navalmartin. This pattern was created by abstracting a rib from the skeleton of a ship to bring to the foreground a small part of ship building and design history.
I waited for the vessel to align with the sun reflected on the East River, pushing 6 little piercings through a cityscape silhouette. (East River, New York 2013)
COVE LINE for navalmartin. The idea was to create a symbol that would emulate a wave but at the same time have a direct link to the navalmartin identity.
